Balance of day at leisure until our welcome dinner in the hotel's AZURE RESTAURANT with its stunning sea views and excellent cuisine.

Saturday, October 15: Weather permitting, ascend Table Mountain via a revolving cable car affording spectacular views of the city below. Back on terra firma, a city orientation tour takes us on a stroll through the Company Gardens, District Six Museum and the Malay Quarter with enticing aromas. Ending at the V&A Waterfront, we have time to explore independently before a leisurely return to the hotel.

Sunday, October 16: This morning a guided visit to the Jewish Museum.

The world famous STELLENBOSCH WINELANDS provide the focus for the afternoon tour. Surrounded by stunning wine estates and Cape Dutch architecture, the region is a pure paradise. A wine cellar tour and wine tasting are in store for us here. Time for scouting local art galleries and inviting shops complete this lovely day.

Monday, October 17: Our final day in Cape Town offers complementary opportunities. With world-class museums, bustling markets, inviting beaches and lush gardens, your choices are boundless. Luxuriating in the hotel's world- class spa may prove an irresistible option...

Tuesday, October 18-21: Departing Cape Town, two 2-hour flights take us to a different world and specifically to the ROYAL LEGEND SAFARI LODGE in the private game reserve of TIMBAVATI, part of Kruger National Park. The Lodge's ten chalets, built with a minimum of intrusion into the natural environment command magnificent views of the watercourse and surrounding vegetation. Guests can appreciate unbroken views of the river from the comfort of their beds through glass doors on two sides of the chalet. Rooms have air conditioning and large mosquito netting over the beds. All rooms have spacious en-suite bathrooms. The Lodge spa offers a variety of therapies providing the ultimate relaxing experience. All meals are included here. Morning off-road game drives are included as are evening safaris affording an opportunity to view unforgettable nocturnal animals and nighttime activities in the bush. Game drives in open safari vehicles with highly trained rangers and trackers provide us the privilege of experiencing a true bushveld environment. The prospect of seeing Africa's 'Big Five' - lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo and leopard is simply phenomenal.

Friday, October 21: From Timbavati, we're off to Zambia stopping first in the regal comfort of the D'OREALE GRANDE HOTEL adjacent to the OR TAMBO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT in Johannesburg. Countless amenities grace this large resort-hotel allowing sufficient rest and recreation before our next adventure.

Saturday, October 22: A short 2-hour flight takes us to Livingstone Falls Airport in Zambia. On the banks of the great Zambezi River is the ROYAL LIVINGSTONE HOTEL, the pride of Zambian hospitality. Capturing the grand estate houses of a by-gone era this exceptional hotel is our home for our last three nights on tour. A spacious sun deck overlooks the river as it flows relentlessly to VICTORIA FALLS.

Sunday, October 23: This morning, a walking safari wends through a magnificent rain forest as we head to the Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World. Incomparable views abound. Complete this amazing day with a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River.

Monday, October 24: Today, drive across the border into Botswana. A morning cruise on the Chobe River garners views of grazing animals and bird life. Local elephant herds are seen kicking up dust as they wait their turn to drink at the water's edge. Open safari vehicles afford one last opportunity for game viewing in the Park. Returning to our hotel, we enjoy an elaborate farewell dinner in the gracious Livingstone hotel dining room.

Tuesday, October 25: Morning to pack or simply reflect upon the magical memories of this glorious adventure - then pack. Afternoon flight to Johannesburg departs at 1:15. International flight this evening at 8:35.
